New RC is out, and it should actually work this time.
There's a few known bugs, but nothing is a deal-breaker as such:
- Progress bar sticks at 99%, even after patching has completed.
- CLI mode is untested, but probably won't work due to bugs in either Windows or the Python implementation on Windows. Not sure which.

ReplyDeletefigured it out from one of your earlier posts, it was having japanese text in the address box. simply moving my install folder to desktop or elsewhere remedied it. sorry for wasting everyones time.
ReplyDeleteIt's still annoying that this is an issue though. I haven't been able to figure out why the compiled executable refuses to run in non-ASCII directory.
Deleteon a different issue, i'm having trouble getting it to accept an rpg_rt.exe in the game location field.
Deletei'm leaving it open right now seeing if it will eventually appear, but simply clicking browse and selecting the rpg_rt.exe results in closing the browser with the field/drop down still blank.
patch location still works, selecting an rpgmktranspatch file will hang for a second but will fill the field properly (it then greys out, waiting for the rpg_rt.exe field to be filled).
also, attempting to use v1.99 brings up the "new version" message, meaning atm i can't work/apply any translations, any work around or temp solution would be nice, but i've come to use rpgmaker trans for so long that i don't think i could live without it.
Huh. Odd that the update check is triggering. For v1.99, a way to temporarily disable the update check is deleting the config file.
DeleteI'll see if I can work out what's going on with this bug, but specifically what's happening is that RPGMaker Trans is not finding the game in the path for some reason. Could you post a list of the files in the game directory? Or a screenshot of the game folder?
